The coundown is on for our concert on Saturday 16 April.

So what about the rehearsal? Bob was back tonight, taking the band through a number of the concert pieces, which include the Braveheart theme as well as other Celtic favourites.

And whilst a few people were missing tonight due to the Easter holiday, we were pleased to see Alan returning on horn and Alison on cornet. We also welcomed new member Scott on clarinet. And (drum roll) ... this week's Star of the Evening, playing through the broken rib pain barrier for the second week running. Welcome back Jim - the quiet(ish) half of our formidable tuba section :-)
