On Stage and Screen Concert 2017

Our on Stage and Screen concert went really well. But who was Star of the Evening?

The first clarinets were in with a shout during the afternoon rehearsal, for playing the wrong piece … how long was it before they noticed? Jim on solo tuba was absolutely marvellous, both in the rehearsal and the concert. Michael deserves a special mention, partly for helping conduct the band, but mostly for forgetting Mirjam’s cornet. Oh, and his own trombone mouthpiece.

Now, you know that all of our audience members are dear to us. But tonight’s Stars of the Evening are the wonderful audients who not only paid to come and hear the band - they also helped serve the teas 😊
