Bristo Community Concert Band began in November 2014, and have come a long way to become a large band of over 30 regular players, we have always stuck to being a non-auditioning inclusive concert band based in Edinburgh, who want as many people as possible to enjoy playing music as much as we do.

 

We welcome musicians over 16, due to our challenging music choices we strongly recommend being of at least grade 5 standard or above. Our fantastic conductor and enthusiastic players ensure that rehearsals are relaxed and fun as well as a great opportunity to improve playing. Thanks to a number of grants, we can lend quality instruments to BCCB band members who would like to get back to playing music.

Throughout our year, we play a wide range of music and perform at least two concerts at Bristo Baptist Church and support many Edinburgh community organisations and charities by playing and raising funds throughout the year.
