Around the World in 80 Minutes - Concert Preparation

The band was sounding excellent tonight as Bob took us through the final rehearsal before concert day. Well done to the new recruits, and a special mention for the flute section, who almost succeeded in drowning out the saxes in places. But not quite ☺

The concert, themed "Around the world in 80 minutes", will be at 7pm at the home of the band, Bristo Baptist Church, on Saturday 27 June.

Our musical journey will include pitstops in Europe, Russia, Africa and the Americas. And if all that doesn't tempt you to come along, home baking will be available at the interval on the concert theme ... apparently the Irish fruit cake won star of the evening last time! Yum!
