We had a packed hall tonight with a big band and a big sound. New euphonium player Jill put in an excellent performance on her debut. The clare-inet section were missing a couple of Clares but were boosted by Scott's return. The sax section are missing Gordon's sense of humour - and legendary bar counting skills 😉 ... hurry back Gordon!

But who was tonight's Star of the Evening? On the occasion of the band's second Birthday (cue Fanfare trumpets), tonight's award goes to trumpeter Ian, not just not just for his trumpet playing, but also for his exemplary cake cutting 😃

Happy 2nd Birthday BCCB!
