Now for the question on everyone's lips who was Star of the Evening at our second rehearsal of 2017?

Julie E was in with a shout, celebrating her second week in the clarinet section with another dozen notes ... meanwhile, the French horns migrated to the other side of the band. Obviously just because there wasn't enough space.

And talking of space, Hannah continued her climb up the clarinet ranks into the vacant 1st clarinet chair ... solo next week? But tonight's award goes to our formidable tuba section ... how did they both manage to swallow their tongues / ties / tubas just before their moment in the spotlight in Les Miserables?
