Band News - 21 January 2019

Bob took up the baton and worked the band through some pieces for our 'You have been watching' concert on Saturday 23 March.

There were several nominations for our coveted Star of the Evening award. Mid brass players Jill on euphonium and Darcy on French horn were wonderful. Fab librarian Vanessa and her team receive a special commendation for their great work getting the concert pads organised. They even managed to put a BCCB pencil into each pad - dedication indeed!

But they were pipped at the post tonight by David on baritone sax - who not only nailed the Muppets' Mahna Mahna solo, but also volunteered to try to fix the band printer, yay!
