Stars of the Evening at this week's rehearsal were almost the trumpets, who were asked by conductor Bob to unmute because they couldn't be heard . The saxes couldn't be heard either, really

But despite everyone else's best efforts, the trombone section took tonight's award with a big-band-worthy performance, especially in the swing section of Singing in the Rain. And if you'd like to play like our award winning bones, take a look at Classic fm's rules for ensemble playing ...
