Back rehearsing tonight after a short break and there were several nominations for our Star of the Evening award, including Lauren for leading the sax section, Dani for playing flute in six flats and on several ledger lines, and Jim for a spirited display on tuba, especially in Crocodile Rock.

But this week's coveted award is won by someone who wasn't even at rehearsal tonight - Star of the Evening Bob achieved a Distinction in his conducting exam, what a brilliant result!
