Yey! Tonight we welcomed three new players Danielle on flute as well as two brass players, Yvette on trombone and Ruari on trumpet.

Tonight we had a few nominations for our Star of the Evening award. First up was our trumpet section for their opening fanfare in Shostakovich's Festive Overture. Then there was the barking dog effect in the Queen medley - which no-one owned up to. Not even the saxes ...

But tonight's award is deservedly won by an unidentified alto player who specifically asked to remain nameless ... but you can hear our star soloist playing Oodles of Noodles at Haddington's West Parish Church on Saturday 15 September - please send us a message if you would like to know more!
