Tonight we were delighted to welcome along new oboist Jacqueline - but did she win Star of the Evening?

First of all, let us tell you about our next concert ... on Saturday 23 June, 7pm at Bristo Baptist Church. In response to audience feedback, we will be playing MORE MOVIE MUSIC - you only had to ask 🎶

Ok, now you want to know who won Star of the Evening? Once again Bill G was outstanding on trombone, and even found time to give an unidentified alto player some conducting lessons - not that they're needed of course 😉

Meanwhile, another alto player who can be identified - the fabulous Leon - had the tune in Disney Film Favourites. And could almost be heard over those rowdy flutes 😎

But for the first time ever, tonight's award is won by someone making their debut ... well done Jacqueline, Star of the Evening. Fantastic sight reading, and great sound. An oboe player too, who would have thought it 😊
