Band News - 5 March 2018

Tonight was our third last rehearsal before our John Williams & Friends concert - including Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Harry Potter - but who was Star of the Evening?

Bob C received several nominations for his excellent cornet playing - and for his excellent cornet, much admired by fellow cornet player Jamie. Who did wonderfully well in the absence of Gordon and David, but who will have to make himself available more often if he really wants a Bach cornet 😎

But tonight's winners are the unsung heroes of the band. For the first time in living memory, there was a full complement of committee members at a meeting - even Kirsteen was there! So tonight's Stars of the Evening are our hard working committee, especially new members George and Dominic. And honorary new member Kirsteen 😀
