Band News - 6 January 2020

Tonight was the first rehearsal of 2020 and who was Star of the Evening? Despite a strong bid from Kim and her timid cymbal crash, tonight it was all about the bass. Dominic's bass drum was fabulous. Jim and Sandra impressed on tuba, whilst Stefan managed to get through an entire evening without playing his customary bass clarinet solo 😁

But everyone was outshone tonight by Ness with a Sterling performance on bassoon to match her pre-Xmas percussion performance. And Ness also becomes the first person to win Star of the Evening at two successive rehearsals on different instruments, yay! Wonder what she'll play next week 😊
