Band (and Concert) News - 7 May 2018

With numbers a little low due to the bank holiday, tonight's Star of the Evening award was hotly contested. And it was going to take something special to beat the saxes - including two baris and a very mellow tenor player (as yet unidentified).

But Julie managed it, for her Sterling efforts not only on clarinet but also on our website and posters. You can find one near you soon publicising our forthcoming performance at the Corstorphine Festival as part of a music evening on Weds 30 May at St Thomas Church. Entry is free although donation to the Corstorphine Public Hall Rebuild fund would be much appreciated. We will reprise some of the fantastic movie music from our recent John Williams & Friends concert, so if you missed that (or if you'd like to hear some pieces again), we would love to see you there!
