Band New - 21 August 2017

Updated: Dec 13, 2021

Not only were we rehearsing tonight for our Grand Tour concert on Saturday 7 October (save the date), we were also getting ready for our annual appearance at Portobello's Big Beach Busk, which happens this Saturday 26 August. And long time BCCB fan Jim G deserves a mention at this point, for visiting Portobello to support the band - a week early. Sorry we missed you Jim, hope to see you this week!

And finally, if you are looking for some culture on Saturday evening, our fab trombonist Bill G will be playing in the Sinfonia at St Cuthbert's Church in Lothian Road. The concert starts at 7.45pm, and the fantastic programme includes Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture and Rachmaninoff's 3rd piano concerto. Enjoy!
