First of all a well done to those who managed to get to rehearsal tonight, it's not pleasant out there and we were wondering whether the rehearsal might have to be cancelled. But there was an overwhelming vote to go ahead, yay 😊. So we practised several pieces for our John Williams concert at Bristo Baptist Church on Saturday 14 March, which will feature our very own Cantina band 😁

In Bob's absence, Jamie made his debut as stand in conductor - which brought him into contention for Star of the Evening. But tonight's award was won by the trombone section, featuring Colin on his brand new instrument, and Lily, who waited a whole hour for a taxi to take her to rehearsal - we're glad you made it Lily!
