Plea from BCCB - keep music in Schools

No rehearsal this week but you're reading our page anyway, so it's likely that you appreciate the value of music. But, sadly, not everyone does.

For example, fairly recently, a massive petition prevented the City of Edinburgh Council from making sweeping budget cuts to its schools' instrumental music service. And right now, music libraries across the UK are under threat of closure.

Now, you probably already know that the next Edinburgh Council elections are happening on 4 May. So this might be a good time - probably the best time - to quiz the would-be politicians on their position on this important subject. And why not make your bid for Star of the Evening by letting us know how you get on 😎
